Duties Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, adhering to food safety standards. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling efficiently. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and upselling additional items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, kitchen equipment, and dining zones, following sanitation protocols. Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, portioning, and food safety management practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including slicing machines, ovens, refrigerators, and other culinary tools. Process cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service during busy periods in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles is highly preferred, especially in quick-service or fast-food environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and handle retail sales transactions smoothly. Basic math skills for cash register operations and order processing are essential. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean workspace aligns well with this role's requirements. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures ensures compliance with health standards.
