Primrose School Director

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic School Director to lead Primrose School of West Des Moines, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational experience for children while fostering a positive and professional workplace for staff. Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum to create an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Lead and support a team of educators, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Primrose Schools' high standards and all state licensing requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, and the local community, fostering a sense of trust and partnership.
  • Manage the school's financial health, including budgeting, tuition tracking, and operational expenses.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to enhance program quality and drive school growth,
  • Ensure classrooms operate at a high standard, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and an enriched learning environment.
  • Partner with staff to host events and engagement activities, promoting Primrose culture and family involvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in education leadership and early childhood program administration.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide educators.
  • Experience in financial and business operations within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of licensing and regulatory compliance for early childhood education programs.
  • Excellent strategic planning
  • and problem-solving abilities to drive school success.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and a passion for fostering an exceptional learning environment.
