Job Description
We like our co-workers like we like our food…vibrant, unique, and a little bit spicy. Bring your flavor to the MacKenzie River Pizza team! MacKenzie River was born & raised in Montana by free-spirited people who believe life should be a wide-open, constant exploration. The first employees were ski bums, hikers, kayakers, and anglers—outdoor enthusiasts who worked hard, played harder, and valued a drink and a good meal at the end of the day. We are looking for adventurous, hardworking people to fill Back-of-House roles including : Line Cooks Dishwashers What is the Back-of-House? This is where the magic happens; the kitchen - where phenomenal flavors are created from fresh ingredients, solid technique, and good old-fashioned love. Prep Cooks create the foundation for each dish. Tasked with chopping and portioning ingredients, prepping meats, and making sauces, the Prep Cook sets the stage for the Line Cook to shine. Line Cooks take those prepped ingredients and turn them into dishes bursting with flavor—searing, sautéing, and frying while managing the flow of tickets and communicating with the team when the heat is on (literally and figuratively). The Line and Prep Cooks both have a strong knowledge of safe food handling, keep a clean, organized workspace, and maintain stock levels. Dishwashers are the unsung heroes who keep everything moving. You supply clean, sanitized knives and tools to the Prep Cooks, pots and pans to the Line Cooks, and sparkling plates for every finished dish. You'll work at a steady, efficient pace so the whole kitchen stays supplied. The entire Back-of-House team works together to set up and stock for service, then close down and prep for the next day. Every role requires multitasking and, above all, the ability to support your teammates and help create a positive, high-energy workplace where everyone can enjoy the buzz of a smooth, fast-paced shift. Nights and weekends are a must. That's when people want to go out—and when we need a full, energetic kitchen team ready for the rush. Love working evenings and having your days free? The Back-of-House might be the perfect fit.
