Job Description

Hiring for 3p-11pm and 11p-7am shifts. Care team members must be CPR/First Aid certified, obtain assistance with medications certificate, and have a cleared background. Seeking individuals who are dependable, honest, have integrity and enjoy working with the elderly. Must be a CNA or 18 years of age.
General Responsibilities:
To carry out the policies and procedures as they pertain to the care and needs of the residents. To work in cooperation with the administrator and house manager to fulfill the mission of Sage Grove Management, LLC.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
To provide transportation (if qualified) to residents, as needed, to appointments and activities. To be involved in and provide supervision for recreational, social, and other activities. To provide overnight supervision, as scheduled, to residents. To provide supervision to other regular and voluntary staff as needed and required. To give appropriate first-aid to residents and staff as needed. To assist with medications for residents requiring prescription and non-prescription medications at the appropriate times, as scheduled. To ensure that the residents assigned to his or her care are appropriately dressed, groomed, and have all hygiene needs taken care of each day before breakfast. To supervise contacts and activities with outside family and friends. To ensure the health and safety of all residents at all times. To facilitate the settling of disputes between residents at all times. To consult the house manager in any situation where the proper action may be unclear. To assist in the supervision of cooking, laundry and housekeeping. To assist in other duties as requested or assigned by the administrator. To assist residents to complete activities of daily living which may include: dressing, showering, personal hygiene, eating, toileting cares, transferring position and using assistive devices such as wheelchair, walker, etc..

$13.00 - $14.50 per hour
