Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team. These positions are only part time with the potential of moving into full time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care provided to our residents and support within various medical settings. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs, including those with memory issues. You must be able to pass a background check and obtain the required certifications if you do not have them. Duties Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, and companionship. Collaborate with medical staff to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs, particularly for those with memory issues. Support patients in home care settings, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel. Engage with patients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and emotional well-being. Skills Individual who has experience working with elderly that have memory issues. Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly for individuals with disabilities or memory-related conditions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience when working with individuals facing physical or developmental challenges. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety measures related to patient care.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.50 per hour
