Responsibilities Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist customers in selecting products, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Support other departments as needed, including bussing tables and washing dishes Qualifications Previous experience in food service preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. A passion for culinary arts or food preparation is a plus. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
