Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage customer transactions including cash handling, processing cash and card payments, and issuing receipts. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace by sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and adhering to sanitation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities. Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and storage procedures. Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including stocking supplies and managing inventory levels. Assist in food industry tasks such as serving customers at the counter or drive-thru, managing queues, and ensuring timely service delivery. Uphold a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet operational goals. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and customer service roles. Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. A background in food handling, sanitation practices, or culinary work enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Basic math skills are essential for cash register operations and retail transactions. Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments can be beneficial for understanding inventory management and upselling techniques. Strong time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
