Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and satisfaction Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas and kitchen equipment Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, toasters, and refrigeration units Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices at all times Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in a food industry setting Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of retail sales transactions and upselling techniques Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Join us as a Sandwich Artist where your energy fuels our success!
