Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Uphold food quality and presentation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions
- Upsell additional menu items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
