Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Duties:

• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
• Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Receive and stock inventory as needed
• Follow proper portion control guidelines
• Upsell additional products or promotions to customers

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Please note that this is a paid position.
