Our Egg Room Crew plays a vital role in making sure every egg meets our quality standards before it leaves the farm. Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and hard-working team member to join our Egg Room Crew as a Part-Time Egg Washer. In addition to washing and packing eggs, you may also help at times with chicken care and egg collecting during the summer months.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Washing and sanitizing eggs using our commercial egg washing equipment
  • Inspecting eggs for quality, removing cracked or dirty ones
  • Packing eggs into cartons or flats Packing cartons or flats into boxes, and stacking boxes onto a pallet
  • Cleaning equipment and facilities at end-of-day after washing has concluded
  • Following all food safety and handling guidelines Requirements
  • Must get along well with others and have a positive attitude
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Must be punctual
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be comfortable being around live poultry
  • Must be willing to listen and take instruction from supervisors Schedule & Pay
  • 2-3 days per week
  • 8-hour shifts (daytime hours)
  • $15/hour starting pay
  • Opportunity for more hours during peak times and/or as business grows
