Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and retail sales. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Prepare simple food items following safety standards and quality guidelines, including handling kitchen equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, dining area, and food prep stations in compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment efficiently during busy service periods to support quick turnaround times. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations, including proper storage, sanitation, and waste disposal. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or café environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a restaurant environment is a plus.
