In this role, you'll be the face of our operation, providing top-notch customer service while helping with food prep, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, efficient environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy. Assist in food preparation, including basic food handling, cooking, and assembling menu items according to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment. Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Help with food delivery from kitchen to customers' tables or counters, ensuring timely service. Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn is essential. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude and good communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting. Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key.
