Restaurant Manager, Co-Manager and Shift Leader FLSA Status:
Part time Non-exempt Job purpose The Crew Member works productively as part of the restaurant team and performs their job responsibilities in such a way that all the products they make are of high quality and the customers they serve are satisfied. Crew Members will practice the established procedures and use the proper tools associated with taking and preparing customer orders. Crew Members need to work in cooperation with other Crew Members and management to achieve restaurant goals. Duties and responsibilities- Serves customers correct, complete orders within service time goals according to the Customer Service Standards.
- Prepares and ensures consistent, high-quality products are served to customers.
- Cleans and organizes work stations and ensures the standards for restaurant image are maintained as directed by management and as required by the local health department.
- Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.
- Practices food safety and security procedures. Skills and Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must display sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Must be able to handle high work volumes and perform under stress.
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic and algebra and their applications Working conditions
- This role routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, and cash registers.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work near heat, ovens, etc.
- Crew Members will be scheduled according to our business needs and therefore no guarantee of hours can be made Physical requirements
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Ability to stand, kneel, climb, reach and push on a regular basis.
