We are a small, family-owned business that has been in business for over 30 years. We have a great reputation for great customer service and are looking to bring on a new team member to help us grow! Duties and Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter the store Prepare food for customers while maintaining cleanliness standards set by the restaurant Stock shelves with various items (e.g. condiments, meats, cheeses, etc.) Take orders from customers while providing excellent customer service Check out customers and place cash/credit card payments Assist with other deli operations as needed or requested (e.g. cross-selling, inventory control, etc.) Maintain a high level of product knowledge and work closely with store manager to improve upon sales and customer service Assist in other retail operations as needed or requested (e.g. cross-selling, cross-selling coupons, cross-selling rewards, etc.) Competencies People oriented - Be friendly and helpful to others Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills High school or college degree preferred but not required
