Full Job Description Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Job description: An Olathe-based manufacturer is seeking a reliable and motivated person to support machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with machine setup, material handling, quality checks, final assembly, packaging and maintaining a clean and safe production area. Key Responsibilities- Assist machine operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers
- Set up and adjust machine to finish product to specification
- Perform quality inspections on finished product
- Package, label, and stage finished goods for shipment
- Monitor equipment and report any mechanical issues or irregularities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Assist with inventory cycle counting Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with other crew members
- Ability to read tape measure and calipers
- Strong attention to detail Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment Compensation and schedule
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour (based on experience)Schedule:
6:00 am - 2:30 pm, M-F (40 hours per week)- Occasional Overtime Benefits
