2987662605-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Fortrex Solutions is seeking a Food Safety Team Member in Liberal, KS to support client food safety and compliance programs. In this on-site role, you will perform routine inspections, sanitation checks, and sample collection while carefully documenting findings. You'll help implement and monitor food safety protocols, support risk assessments, and assist with corrective actions to resolve non-compliance. Working in a collaborative, client-focused environment, you'll contribute to safer operations, gain exposure to regulatory standards, and develop your expertise in practical risk and compliance work. Responsibilities Conduct routine food safety inspections and sanitation checks at client facilities Collect samples, document findings, and maintain accurate inspection records Support implementation of food safety protocols, SOPs, and corrective actions Assist with risk assessments related to food handling, storage, and preparation Collaborate with client teams to resolve non conformities and prevent recurrence Follow regulatory and industry standards for hygiene, handling, and contamination control Report risks and trends to supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement Participate in ongoing training to stay current on food safety and compliance requirements Required Skills Food safety inspection Sanitation and hygiene practices HACCP principles Regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA/local) Sample collection and documentation Risk assessment for food handling Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Report writing and recordkeeping Attention to detail and quality control Client communication and collaboration
