2987662999-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Fortrex Solutions is seeking Food Safety Team Members in Liberal, KS to support client food safety and sanitation programs. In this role, you will perform routine inspections, cleaning, and documentation to help ensure safe food handling, storage, and facility hygiene. Working on-site at client locations, you'll follow detailed protocols, use checklists and testing tools, and report issues to supervisors and client contacts. You'll be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team, gaining exposure to risk and compliance practices while helping clients maintain high safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform routine food safety inspections and sanitation tasks at client facilities Monitor, document, and report on food handling, storage, and cleanliness standards Follow detailed protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and cross-contamination prevention Use testing tools and checklists to verify compliance with food safety procedures Communicate findings, concerns, and corrective actions to supervisors and client contacts Adhere to OSHA, HACCP, and company safety requirements, including PPE use Support incident response for contamination or non-compliance issues Participate in ongoing training to maintain current food safety knowledge Collaborate with team members to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals Travel locally to assigned client locations in Liberal, KS as needed Required Skills Food safety inspection Sanitation and disinfection procedures HACCP basics Documentation and recordkeeping Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals PPE and workplace safety practices Basic incident reporting Time management Teamwork and communication Attention to detail
