Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where attention to detail and food safety practices are paramount. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen area. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Use the POS system for order processing and inventory management. Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience. Assist in maintaining stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting customers with their orders. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Experience with POS systems, is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team setting. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.
