Job Description

Position Summary:
The Runner is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the timely and accurate movement of products, pallets, and operational materials throughout the facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining warehouse flow by ensuring products are transported to the appropriate locations to support receiving, replenishment, order fulfillment, loading, and inventory management activities. The Runner works closely with warehouse teams to ensure operational priorities are met while maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Transport products, pallets, and operational materials between warehouse locations to support daily operations. Support replenishment, receiving, picking, loading, and inventory movement activities throughout the facility. Accurately identify products, inventory locations, and storage areas to ensure proper product placement and movement. Utilize pallet jacks and approved material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Move products to designated staging, replenishment, storage, and operational areas based on business needs. Build, organize, and maintain pallets while minimizing product damage and maintaining product integrity. Verify product information, pallet identification, and location assignments prior to movement. Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping efforts to maintain efficient workflow. Monitor products for visible damage, shortages, or quality concerns and report issues to leadership. Maintain communication with warehouse operations teams regarding movement priorities, product availability, and operational needs. Support warehouse workflow by responding to changing operational demands and assisting multiple departments as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned work areas. Follow all GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety procedures. Work collaboratively with warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, quality control, and transportation teams to support daily operational goals. Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling experience preferred but not required. Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and product flow preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and move products within company established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation.
