FOOD SERVICE/DELI CLERK-FULL TIME/HEALTH BENEFITS

Graul's Market has been serving the Baltimore area since the 1920's. We are a specialty gourmet market focusing on service to our customers and offering a quality product. Must have reliable transportation since we are NOT on the light rail or bus route. Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes working Saturdays and rotating Sundays. This position is at our Lutherville, md store. This is a year-round position.

FOOD SERVICE/DELI CLERK-FULL TIME/HEALTH BENEFITS

Duties Prepare a variety of deli items, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches, and managing food displays. Will weigh, package and price meats, cheese and other deli items Will use the slicer to slice meat and cheese, make deli sandwiches Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional products when appropriate. Friendly and approachable demeanor Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels for deli products. Great customer service and great smile! Requirements Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience, deli experience highly preferred (grocery store, deli market, catering or restaurant) Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
