Job Description
Job Overview Join the team at Damariscotta's Historic Lincoln Theater! Your role as a concessions staff member will be to provide a friendly face to all patrons from behind our concessions counter, while you prepare and serve popcorn, candy, and beverages. Our concessions staff is also responsible for maintaining a welcome and presentable environment for everyone who comes through our doors Duties Prepare and serve popcorn Serve boxed candy Serve canned beverages (including beer and wine) Operate POS system Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and equipment cleaning. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while maintaining accountability. Stocking Cleaning Qualifications Past experience with customer service preferred, but we will train the right person. Must have a good attitude with both colleagues and the general public. Must have a friendly demeanor for interacting with customers. Must be trustworthy and responsible. Must be reliable - we have a small staff and it is important to be available for your regularly scheduled shifts. Must be 17 years of age (due to alcohol sales).
