Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and energetic Sandwich Artist/Cashier to join our fast-paced food service team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service. Whether you're preparing fresh ingredients or handling cash transactions, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our guests have a positive experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick turnaround times and satisfaction. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols throughout your shift. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer experience. Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, sanitation, and food safety management. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus. Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen equipment operation. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication. Good math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food industry regulations.
