Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and accurate food handling. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing ingredients, and adhering to food safety protocols. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer experience through friendly suggestions. Support food industry standards by practicing proper sanitation, food safety management, and kitchen equipment operation. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Background in food preparation, culinary arts, or food service customer order management is advantageous. Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing are essential. Experience working in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments can be beneficial. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service. Prior kitchen or café experience will help you excel in maintaining sanitation standards and operating kitchen equipment.
