Overview The Convention Services Setup team is responsible for the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for meetings, banquets or resort activities. Basic audio visual skills are helpful. Responsibilities The Convention Services Setup teams typical job functions include: Setting up of meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.) Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc. Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock, and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane, and stairway area to tunnel Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned Qualifications This position might be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You have achieved a high school diploma or completed a GED You possess a valid driver's license You have previous experience successfully working with a team, strong communication skills and excellent attention for details You are able to frequently stand; walk; lift and or move 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds You are interested in being a part of a team focused on success
