Courtside Café Team Member/hourly position Working in our café as a team member is a customer focused and hospitality driven job. Offer a friendly & professional customer experience. You will answer any questions guests may have when inquiring about our café or menu. You also will need knowledge of money handling, sweeping, mopping, and overall cleanliness. You may need to lift up to 30lbs in certain circumstances. You will represent Epoch Catering & Genesys Conference Center in a positive and professional manner. Encouraging a welcoming working environment is an integral part of what we do.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of food items Ensure the café is fully stocked and all prep is cut or sliced Clean & organize the café when business is slower Report any broken or non-working equipment Write any waste on the provided waste log everyday Be professional and courteous to guests and fellow team members Welcome and greet any guest that approaches the café counter immediately Be able to make change, operate a POS system and process all transactions Complete the opening and closing sheets depending on your shift that day Look over the menu and know basic ingredients if guests ask. Know what to do if someone has an allergy or ask someone how to proceed if in doubt Label and date all prepped items or premade items in our
