Duties Greet customers warmly and take food or beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality presentation. Upsell menu items by suggesting additional products or upgrades to enhance customer experience. Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and managing cash handling duties with precision. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols; ensure all food handling practices meet health standards. Restock supplies, organize inventory, and assist in food preparation to keep the service area organized and efficient. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing customer orders. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that encourages repeat visits. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining sanitation standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately. Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
