Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about food items, and upsell complementary products to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling procedures and workspace organization. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigerators, adhering to food safety regulations. Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Experience working in retail grocery stores or kitchens is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
