Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where you will be the friendly face that creates delicious sandwiches and provides exceptional customer service. This role combines food preparation with cashier responsibilities, ensuring every guest has a positive experience from order to delivery. You will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, assembling sandwiches with precision, and handling transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your energy, attention to detail, and enthusiasm will help us serve high-quality food while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Responsibilities Prepare food items by slicing, assembling, and garnishing sandwiches according to company standards and recipes Operate POS systems to process customer orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, utensils, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food handling duties including stocking ingredients, and ensuring food quality control Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering great food and memorable customer experiences!
