At National Coney Island, we pride ourselves on having loyal team members that work hard to provide the fast and friendly service and the quality menu offerings that define the National Coney Island experience. Our Catering team is responsible for bringing a personalized NCI experience to all types of events as well as overseeing our Coney Kits. Role Description as a Catering Team Member at National Coney Island, you will support the preparation, packaging, and delivery of catered food orders for events and group gatherings. Responsibilities include preparing menu items according to standards, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, setting up serving stations, and working catered events and parties. You will interact with customers, help load and unload catering vehicles, set up and prepare food during parties, and assist with order accuracy and timing. Full-time and part-time positions available. This is an on-site role based in Metro Detroit, MI, requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Qualifications Ability to follow food preparation instructions, portion guidelines, and safety procedures for high-volume catering. Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, a friendly demeanor, and professional interaction at events. Reliable time management and organizational skills. Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying trays and catering equipment, standing for extended periods. Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy, proper packaging, and clean presentation of catering setups. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from catering leads and managers. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is helpful but not required; on-the-job training is provided. Must meet local age requirements for food service employment.

From $18.00 per hour
