Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, providing friendly service and upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas to meet health regulations. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision. Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting the culinary team as needed. Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred. Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Demonstrated ability in customer service, including cashiering, serving, and upselling techniques. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store setting is a plus. Food handling certification or related food safety training is advantageous but not mandatory.
