In this vital role, you will support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth flow of meal preparation and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are upheld. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Must be availale to work Sundays. Weekends required Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and techniques Support meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and transportation to prevent contamination Contribute to menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Support catering and special event setups by preparing dishes in advance and ensuring timely delivery Follow all food industry regulations and safety guidelines during daily operations Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments demonstrating high standards of food presentation and service Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or culinary settings Knowledge of kitchen operations including meal preparation, food safety practices, and catering support Skilled in knife handling, meal assembly, and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment Familiarity with menu planning processes and supporting culinary teams in a variety of settings Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices Join us as a Back of House Team Member to bring your culinary talents to life!
