Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items following company standards for quality and presentation Operate the POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food storage practices Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is required; culinary or café experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for efficient transaction processing Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Experience in retail math or grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay:

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
