This role focuses on preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining organized prep stations, and helping the kitchen team deliver consistent, high-quality meals. Responsibilities Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients according to recipes and specifications. Complete daily food-preparation assignments accurately and efficiently. Set up and stock assigned kitchen and prep stations before service. Follow recipes, portion standards, and food-quality guidelines. Properly label, store, and rotate prepared ingredients and food products. Maintain clean and sanitized preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Follow safe food-handling and temperature-control procedures. Assist cooks and other kitchen team members during busy service periods. Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning duties. Help maintain an organized and well-stocked kitchen throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous food preparation, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience is helpful but not required. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Ability to follow recipes and detailed instructions. Strong attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and food quality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to use knives and standard food-preparation equipment safely. Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and availability for early morning shifts. Benefits $16
