At Chick-fil-A Newington, students can apply for regular part-time employment, a paid internship experience, or both. Whether you're looking for a dependable job during college or an opportunity to explore areas of business beyond the classroom, we would love to learn more about you! What You'll Do All students will begin by gaining hands-on restaurant experience as a Front of House or Back of House Team Member. Front of House Team Members create a welcoming experience for guests by taking orders, serving meals, maintaining clean and inviting spaces, and providing genuine hospitality. Back of House Team Members prepare high-quality food, maintain food-safety standards, keep work areas clean and organized, and work together to serve guests quickly and accurately. Internship Opportunities Students interested in an internship may have the opportunity to gain additional paid experience in areas such as: Business, leadership, and management Marketing and social media Human resources and recruiting Restaurant operations and hospitality Internship experiences are flexible and may be tailored to a student's major, interests, strengths, and professional goals. Selected participants will primarily work regular restaurant shifts while also receiving approximately 1-2 paid hours per week for projects, learning, or time with a member of our leadership team. Internship availability and timing will be determined individually based on the student's interests, performance as a Team Member, and the restaurant's current opportunities and needs. Scheduling We understand that college schedules can be busy and may change from semester to semester. We offer flexible scheduling designed to work around classes and other responsibilities. Applicants should generally be available to work at least 15 hours per week.
