Duties Prepare a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining food presentation standards Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about products, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations Support food preparation tasks such as wrapping, labeling, and storing deli products safely Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Culinary experience or background in the food industry enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with shoppers and promote upselling opportunities Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy and expertise make a real difference!
