Job Description
A food company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese, Korean or Mandarin Sales & Marketing Associate to join their team in Teterboro, NJ. This position is responsible for customer-facing sales support and hands-on marketing work. A bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of sales / sales support / marketing / customer service experience in a similar industry, ability to occasionally travel for business trips , the ability to speak Japanese , Korean, Chinese, Spanish or Burmese preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. This is a full-time, in-person position with excellent benefits and 401k, plus bonus.
Bilingual English/Japanese, Korean or Mandarin Sales & Marketing Associate Duties:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries by phone, email, and web forms
- Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations for the outside sales team
- Follow up on quotes, demo requests, and open opportunities to keep the pipeline moving
- Prepare quotes, sales documents, and order paperwork in coordination with the sales team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and activity in CRM.
- Provide courteous after-sale follow-up and coordinate with service/support teams as needed
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional announcements
- Create and schedule content for social media channels and support website updates
- Help prepare marketing materials, brochures, and presentations
- Support trade show planning, logistics, and on-site execution (occasional business trips)
- Track marketing performance metrics and compile reports for management
Bilingual English/Japanese, Korean or Mandarin Sales & Marketing Associate Skills:
- Must have bachelor's degree
- Must have at least 2 years of sales / sales support / marketing / customer service experience in a similar industry
- Must be proficient with Microsoft
- Familiarity with social media management, email marketing platforms, or basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus
- Ability to speak Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish or Burmese is a plus
- Ability to occasionally travel for business trips
- Strong interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
