Job Description

Overview A Sanitation Team Member is generally responsible for cleaning the facility, equipment, common areas, loading docks and exterior grounds.
Responsibilities Include:
Follow South Jersey Bakery cleaning standards and SOP for cleaning Follow food safety standards Clean equipment following specific cleaning procedures for each type of equipment Able to use electronic record keeping to follow along job paths Proper use of cleaning chemicals and tools Washing racks, baskets, pans, and other production tools Cleaning and sanitizing truck boxes Proper usage of cleaning tools for the lines Maintain a people focused culture in the bakery Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
Education/Experience:
None required; willing to teach people with good attitudes Key Competencies Works well with others in a fast-paced team environment On time, demonstrates honesty and a positive attitude Willingness to learn and adapt to change Attention to detail Able to work overnights
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Standing on feet Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching Lifting objects including boxes, baskets and pails up to 50 lbs. (if applicable) Strict uniform requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices
