This role involves assisting guests, taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining clean service areas, and working collaboratively with the restaurant team. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members. Assist with preparing, assembling, and serving food and beverages according to established procedures. Deliver orders promptly and courteously. Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, beverages, and restaurant offerings. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked dining, counter, and service areas. Clear tables and help maintain a neat and welcoming guest environment. Restock food, beverages, utensils, napkins, cups, packaging, and other service supplies. Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Help maintain accurate order preparation and attractive food and beverage presentation. Communicate customer concerns, special requests, and service issues to supervisors. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Handle food, beverages, equipment, and customer property carefully and professionally. Support coworkers with daily restaurant operations and other assigned tasks. Qualifications Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn food preparation, beverage service, and restaurant procedures. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on service tasks. Ability to remain courteous and professional during busy service periods.
