Job Description
At Hello Sweet Cream, we believe great ice cream deserves great hospitality. We're a small-batch ice cream shop in Eldorado, proudly voted Best Frozen Treat in the 2026 Best of Santa Fe awards. We make everything in small batches, serve every scoop by hand, and strive to create a place people genuinely look forward to visiting. We're currently building our team for the upcoming fall and winter season, with training beginning in late July and early August. If you're looking for a part-time job that continues beyond the summer, we'd love to hear from you. Because we're a small team, every shift matters. We're looking for dependable people who show up, support their teammates, and take pride in doing things well. What You'll Do Welcome every customer with a warm, genuine smile Scoop and serve premium small-batch ice cream efficiently and with care Help guests choose flavors and answer questions, including allergen information Operate the register and handle transactions accurately Keep the shop clean, stocked, and inviting throughout the day Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Taste new ice cream flavors from time to time (it's part of the job!) We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys talking with people Reliable and consistently on time Calm and organized during busy rushes Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods Able to scoop firm ice cream repeatedly throughout a shift A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a small team Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Willing to obtain a New Mexico Food Handler Certificate after hire What You'll Get Competitive hourly pay plus tips Employee discount Paid training Paid sick time A supportive, close-knit team The chance to work somewhere that customers genuinely love visiting
