Are you free a few Saturdays a month? Then this is the job for you! We are looking for someone to work at farmers' markets on Saturdays from around 7am-2pm. The ideal candidate has great customer service skills; the ability to communicate clearly; take direction effectively; enjoy talking with people. Markets are in Chappaqua, Bronxville, Pleasantville, Katonah and Cold Spring.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pick up products and market equipment between 7am-7:45am in Yorktown. Arrive at assigned market on-time, set up tent, stall, displays, signage, products Interact with and answer customer questions about products Make sales and keep track of inventory Break down stall, organize leftover product Return unsold products and supplies in good condition

Requirements:

Work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion, set up a 10x10 tent Good basic math skills for retail Great attention to detail, capacity and curiosity to learn Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy speaking with people Must have car insurance Have clean, reliable car that can fit all market supplies and equipment safely Valid, NYS driver's license Have a smart phone for app transactions
