Duties Prepare a variety of deli sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, assembling sandwiches, and handling special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following proper sanitation and food safety procedures throughout your shift. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, toasters, refrigerators, and other food prep tools. Assist with retail sales transactions, processing cash or card payments while accurately handling cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, especially in quick service or fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales management. Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean workspace. Customer service experience with a focus on serving guests in a friendly, professional manner. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations. Previous experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is preferred but not required.
