Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales efficiently. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and kitchen equipment operation. Manage customer interactions with professionalism, providing friendly service that encourages repeat visits. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, restocking stations, and ensuring a tidy work environment at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing. Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities. Experience operating kitchen equipment and managing food safety protocols is a plus. Prior retail sales or cashiering experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
