Job Description
Birdies Food Truck is hiring dependable, hardworking crew members for our busy event schedule throughout Northeast Ohio.
We serve festivals, concerts, weddings, corporate events, community events and private parties, so this is a great fit for someone who likes fast-paced work, variety and being part of a close team.
Starting pay: $15/hour and upPay increases based on experience, availability, reliability and responsibility.
ScheduleFriday and Saturday availability is required.
Additional weekday, evening and Sunday hours may also be available.
Our schedule changes based on event bookings, so flexibility is important. Shifts may take place at different locations throughout Northeast Ohio.
What You'll DoFood truck crew members may rotate between:
Taking customer ordersPOS/registerFood prepGrill and fryerPlating and assembling ordersStockingCleaning and dishesCustomer serviceOpening and closing dutiesHelping wherever the team needs you during busy serviceThis is a team environment. We are looking for people who notice what needs done and jump in rather than waiting to be asked.
What We're Looking ForYou must:
Have reliable transportationBe consistently available Fridays and SaturdaysBe comfortable traveling to events throughout Northeast OhioBe dependable and punctualWork well in a fast-paced environmentStay calm during busy rushesBe willing to learn multiple positionsCommunicate well with coworkers and customersKeep a clean and organized workspaceBe willing to work hard and help the teamRestaurant, food truck or kitchen experience is a plus, but it is not required.
We care more about work ethic, reliability and attitude than having the perfect resume .We are happy to train the right person.
About BirdiesBirdies is a family-run, veteran-owned Northeast Ohio food truck known for award-winning burgers, sandwiches, comfort food and over-the-top specials.
We work hard, move fast and have a lot of fun doing it.
Some shifts are easy.
Some shifts involve a line around the truck, a screen full of tickets and everyone moving at full speed.
If that sounds exciting instead of terrifying, you'll probably fit in pretty well.
