Position Summary Join our kitchen team and help create the fresh, high-quality products our customers enjoy every day. As a Food Prep & Catering Crew Member, you'll prepare our house-made recipes, assemble catering orders, and ensure every product leaving our kitchen meets our standards for quality, freshness, and presentation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working efficiently, staying organized, and taking pride in preparing great food. Responsibilities Prepare house-made salads and cream cheeses and other fresh menu items according to company recipes. Accurately measure, mix, portion, and label food products. Slice, package, and label fresh bagels for retail and wholesale orders. Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards. Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Monitor product quality and report any concerns to management. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Support other kitchen and production tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous food preparation or kitchen experience is preferred but not required - we're happy to train the right person. Ability to accurately follow recipes and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Perform repetitive tasks such as mixing, slicing, packaging, and labeling. Work safely around commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
