Overview:
- Join our team as a Carb Enabler aka a Front of House Team Member. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, supporting local businesses, and have a keen interest in the culinary world.
Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist customers in selecting items and provide information on products
- Prepare to-go orders and check finished orders
- Assisting in taking & packaging catering orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room/kitchen area
- Package items for sale and ensure proper labeling/packaging
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system
- Basic math skills for measurements and transactions
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or interest in baking is a plus
- Familiarity with Square system preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment following food safety guidelines
- Strong customer service skills to interact with patrons effectively
