Job Description

Teriyaki Madness - Mayfield Height, OH. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Back of House (BOH) Team Member to join our fast-paced restaurant team. In this role, you will help prepare high-quality food while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is hardworking, team-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience through consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment before each shift. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout the shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food deliveries using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Support fellow kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak business hours. Complete daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance concerns promptly. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Lead or Management Team. Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm, organized, and productive under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment. Capable of performing repetitive motions while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Pay:
$12.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
