Position Summary As a Cashier/Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our restaurant. You will greet guests with enthusiasm, accurately process orders, maintain a clean and welcoming dining area, and help ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Welcome every guest with a friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Accurately take customer orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash and electronic payments accurately. Assemble customer orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and presentation standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front counter, dining room, and beverage station. Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties. Resolve routine customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient operations. Help create an exceptional guest experience by providing fast, friendly, and attentive service. Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate. Positive attitude with an outgoing and friendly personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to learn quickly and follow direction. Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and experience handling cash. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements. Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
