Job Summary Join our vibrant Ice Cream Truck Catering Team and become a key player in delivering delightful frozen treats and exceptional customer experiences at various events and locations. This energetic role combines food service expertise, sales skills, and efficient operations to create memorable moments for our guests. As part of our team, you'll handle everything from preparing delicious ice cream offerings to engaging with customers, ensuring quick service and a fun atmosphere. Paid positions available, offering an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills in a lively environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream products, toppings, and beverages with precision and care. Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and basic math for transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation, including scooping, packaging, and restocking supplies during busy service times. Support setup, breakdown, and transportation of the ice cream truck at various event sites while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Culinary experience or background in the food industry enhances your ability to handle food safely and efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during fast-paced service periods. Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell and create positive guest interactions. Experience in cashiering, food handling, sanitation practices, or working in a café or grocery store is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings at outdoor or indoor event locations.
