Job Summary:

As a Deli & Cafe Team Member at The Cheese House, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing delicious food and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities:

Slice meats and cheeses to order Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels Help prepare in-house recipes in our kitchen Package bulk foods and other products for sale Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

Previous experience in a deli or cafe environment (desirable but not essential) Be 18+ years old (required to be 18+ to use the slicer) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
